I got these because they were inexpensive and defiantly NOT my first choice, however, they can in an extremely sturdy box and they are SOLID. I am very surprised at the quality of these stools. They even came with pads for the bottom. There were a few blemishes here and there as far as the paint job but they are solid wood and very well made.
