I ordered the brown wood but received the white. But the white works fine for my kitchen. But there was a definite mix up on my order. The stools are sturdy and easy to assemble. One screw broke and they did not include any extras; therefore, I will have to go buy screw that is similar. Otherwise, seem to be solid and sturdy. I plan to sand the edges to soften the seat.
