These lose one star based on comfort... the edges of the stools are a bit more pointed than I was anticipating so theyre not for long term sitting as an adult (like when playing a family board game), but if youre sitting on them to have a meal then these are perfect.
These are sturdy little stools that were very easy to put together - make sure you dont tighten the screws fully until youve got it all put together! They do state it in very small print in the instructions but its worth mentioning here as well.
Overall were happy with this purchase and we actually ordered a total of 4 stools for our island.
