I ordered these chairs to be used as extra seats for a bar and dining table. The height is about right for both, especially the table in a pinch. I assembled these on my own ( mature female) and the directions that came along with the tools and screws were complete. The hex wrench included works and the screws are the right length. However, I recommend you use gloves to screw in the screws as the wrench is difficult to manage when the turns get tight. I also like the wooden screw hole covers that are included however they dont all fit and some came with less paint than others. I tried to hide the less painted ones closer under the seat saddle. I like that the foot rests have a metal cover to keep shoes from chipping the paint. The felt leg cushion stickers for the bottom of the legs are a nice touch and extra were included. The stools are heavy and solid, and I did not have any trouble assembling. Hope they wear well in the rental we are using them in. All in all I am very satisfied with this product.
