The bed has a very nice finished look. In my opinion the slats could be made of sturdier wood but they are sufficient. Assembly was very easy and took maybe 30 min with minimal extra tools. The storage capacity is adequate. Overall Im very satisfied with my purchase. The bed is for my 8 yr old daughter and she loves it.
