I dont know if they beefed up the quality control on this one since all the complaints, but every single piece was clearly marked. The instructions were easy to figure out. The support boards were not rough at all, very smooth. I do recommend having a power drill on hand to make the job easier, but other than that no complaints! I think its very sturdy. My granddaughter loves it, so that makes it a great buy for me!!
