So far I have only constructed the bottom bed until my son is older but the material and instructions seemed to be good quality. The bed is solid. I was able to put it together myself but it would be easier with two people. The only criticism I would have is the slats are spaced too far apart I will probably put a thin sheet of plywood on the top bunk, or make a few extra slats.
