Easy to put together and color is true to picture.Would need two people just to make sure the legs with the pegs are correctly aligned when placing top bunk on bottom. No glue so easy to change back to 2 single beds. We used thin mattresses and added a toddler rail on bottom bunk for our 4 yo.
