I bought this for a 17 year old that is 6 and weighs over 200 lbs. So far it seems durable enough and is working out great. The 3 drawers provide some much needed storage. This isnt furniture that you would expect to last a lifetime, but when properly assembled it will hold up just fine. It is working out well for our needs.
