I woyld give a 5, however there are flaws in the material so Im giving it a 4. My fear is the material will tear apart due to these flaws. Pvetall its mice piece of firniture for our guest room for the price. The legs were scratched as others mentioned, who cares theyre under the futon you dont see them. I will update after our visitor uses the futon and let you know if the material falls apart.
