I got this because I needed extra seating in my living room. Overall, Im really pleased with it. Its easy to our together and it arrived within a few days of purchasing it. It looks really nice. It comfortably seats but but definitely could sit 3. The downfall is that it is hard which, I expected after reading other reviews. I covered a memory foam bath mat runner in gray fabric and I use it as a cushion. I would recommend this futon to others.
