I was worried because of all the mixed reviews, but it came unharmed and perfect in my opinion. It is comfortable and quite nice looking. I am an average sized male, and it gives me just enough room if I want to lay down on it, comfortably, WITHOUT unfolding the whole thing. I have never slept on it but I would believe it to be very comfortable when put into bed-use, for a futon. And I say for a futon because I believe this is where the reviews have gone wrong. I believe people are asking way too much from these futons and expect it to be both the greatest couch they ever sat on and the greatest bed they ever laid on. Its not. But its certainly great, quite comfortable, and it fits perfectly underneath my bunk bed in my apartment room.
