This cover is almost what I need. It is quite large for my 72 sofa. I love that it is essentially waterproof. It has the potential to fit well, if you have a larger sofa. The seat cushions fit well with the elastic on the bottom, like a sheet on a bed- only this goes under the cushion. The cover is deep enough to reach to the floor (my dogs cant get under the sofa anymore- super nice). It is very soft, feels almost like flannel. It had very little odor, I was able to put it on my sofa without aversion. I have a very sensitive nose.
The things I didnt like, no way to attach it or tuck it into my sofa to make it fit nicely. It is nice the material is water resistant, but it is also slippery. The cover slides around, the cushion slides on the couch portion and every time you sit down, the cushions poof out with air (further showing the water resistance).
I will likely add pool noodles wrapped in non-slip rug padding to make if fit better. A layer of this non-slip padding under the cover on the sofa as well as under the cushions on top of the cover, will stop the slipping.
It wipes clean easily and I do not have to worry about my dogs ruining my expensive sofa.
