I was very excited about making this purchase. It arrived quickly and I was pleased with that. After taking all of the parts out of the box and counting them one by one, we realized that there was no hardware in the box. What a hassle! Ok, no big deal, we will wait for it to come. After the run around and three different phone calls we recieved the hardware 7 days later.
While putting this together we found that there were several bars bent which made it impossible to put screws in. We made the best out of it though. The ladder and side rail screws and holes are backwards and the ladder doesnt go where it is supposed to. So where the opening is,its just that, an opening. The ladder holes are on the left side of the bed so my 4 year old has to climb over the side rail to get into the bed. The bed is not very sturdy and I wouldnt recommend this product. It looks cute, but thats about all.
