I would definitely recommend this shoe bench. About a month ago, we ordered a more expensive one that was warped and had poor craftsmanship. We ended up having to return it after spending two hours trying to assemble it which was disappointing and frustrating. It was such a pleasant surprise to receive this bench after our previous experience. It was pretty easy to assemble, with clear instructions. We did it together but one person could do this as well. I would recommend a power drill to speed up the process but you can still assemble with just a regular screwdriver. All parts were in excellent condition and the pieces were clearly labeled. Once assembled, it was very sturdy to sit on and fit our shoes nicely. Highly recommend!
