I almost decided not to buy this bench. Some of the reviews made me a little leary. However, I took a chance and Im glad I did. The packing it arrived in was great. I have no chips or scratches. Everything (except the tools) needed to assemble it, was in the box. Little warning: it is a very heavy bench. It assembles relatively easily with 2 people. When assembling furniture like this, I use wood glue on the joining pieces and the screws once they are secure. This makes it very sturdy. Its a little longer than I wanted, but for the price, its a very nice piece. The cushion isnt great, but that can easily be replaced.
