We don't have a mud room and we were trying to find something for our back kitchen door to store our yard shoes / boots in as well as look decent in the corner of the kitchen. This does the job. The rustic brown color was the perfect match to the wall mounted shelf and coat rack we ended up getting as well. The assembly didn't need more than 1 person and took under an hour. We love the fact the shelves are adjustable and fit my tall boots. Bench is sturdy, comfy to sit on and the cushion is easy to wipe off when needed.
