The twin bed is beautiful. Right away I was impressed with the quality of the gorgeous wood. Yet it was so lightweight, which isnt necessarily good when it comes to beds.
The overall assembly was very straightforward and I enjoyed building it.
The trundle unfortunately broke in 3 months. My son is 6 and I wasnt expecting that to happen considering the 400 pound weight limit. In addition, there arent enough slats to make this as comfortable as it could be. However, we were doing well until the trundle broke. I wanted to reach out to the company about this, but life has been busy so we just have a mattress on the floor is instead.
Due to this issue, Im very cautious about even sitting on the top bed in case that also breaks. But it seems to be holding up and its been a year now.
Its a beautiful product made from lovely materials, but the trundle just didnt hold up for us.
