It did take almost 4 hours to assemble, only because we took breaks. The drawers arent as deep as I thought. I fit one full set of flannel sheets in one drawer, I thought Id have a little more room (maybe Im not folding them right). We did not have to reinforce any corners or slats so far in the month that its been assembled. It could also be a couple of inches higher, otherwise, no complaints enough to try to return it.
