Nice bench but instructions leave much to be desired!
PROS: This entryway bench with shoe storage is on the expensive side, but its beautiful with quality craftsmanship. I am very selective and picky about inspecting furniture for damages. However, the parts arrived carefully wrapped in one box and in overall good condition within one week of placing my order. The bench appears sturdy and its made of solid wood, but well have to see how well it holds up to being in a high traffic area in our home and everyone sitting on it to remove/wear shoes.
CONS: I really wish the seller would have labeled the parts because the instruction booklet came with letters and numbers assigned to each component, but absolutely nothing in the box was actually labeled! Component 9 was not labeled properly or at all in certain steps. Also, the pictures in the instructions did not match all the parts, because we purchased the largest bench (XXXL) from the options but the diagrams in the instructions showed a medium bench!? Therefore, it took two of us some extra time to assemble the bench so Im docking points off what would have been a more positive and higher rated review. I hope the seller takes this review as constructive feedback to update the instructions for each bench option sold.
