So the basic cabinet was alright. I ordered two. Both had a chip or chunk damaged, but it was on a corner that wouldnt be noticeable so I touched up with a black Sharpie.
It is black. I couldnt tell from the pics and the description wasnt clear.
Now I customized to resemble some cabinets that were $1,000 on Wayfair.
-The crisscross inserts and the glass all came out easily with a small screwdriver.
-I spray painted the inserts with a gold spray paint.
-I replaced the glass with mirrors cut to fit. I think maybe $30 for 4 mirrors (two cabinets).
-I also added glass on top to protect it.
Everything went back together perfectly.
LOVE the final product!
