The chair feels sturdy as all get-out. The instructions were kind of crappy, but I figured it out. I've had a decent amount of experience assembling (and disassembling) things though - I could imagine someone with less experience having some difficulties. The only tool that was missing was something to tighten the wheel bolts, but they probably don't need to be that tight anyway. The chair is pretty comfortable, the cushion is nice.
It is a lot of money for a chair, but I feel like the components are good quality, I'm pretty sure the nuts and bolts were good quality stainless steel, and that thing would probably last 100 years as long as it's not abused.
The only part of the construction of the chair I didn't like was the back of the chair having threads right into the aluminum instead of a bolt, but as long as it stays together I'm good.
