Purchased a similar patio set, so I knew assembly would be a chore. Assembly is not complicated except that the instructions don't give you a good feel for parts. First chair was a bit frustrating. Second chair took half the time. Cushions are thin and will wear quickly, but this is nonetheless a good set. Delivery took much less time than projected.
