I would have to say this bed surprised me for the price. I expected cheap metal but this is a very sturdy bed screws and all.
I would say the only things that is a bummer for us is you can have the trundle made if you want it to fit underneath. I have twins which is why we got this and they have a small room. We needed the ability to roll it in everyday. We will have to raise the side up on stilts a little or she has to un-make and re-make her bed every day. Long story short wish the top bed was set higher.
If that is not an issue then I highly suggest. It is a lot sturdier than all the wooden ones we looked at.
