Opinion: its sturdy, kinda stiff but not uncomfortably stiff. Youll want some type of cushion or throw pillows — the arms are too short to comfortably use as a head rest or anything for that matter
The extended part is not swappable from side to side. Dont know how to describe this, but the L shape is fixed and I dont see how it can become reversible
Overall, its decent for the price and fits comfortably in a smal apt.
