After reading the reviews and going to their direct website, I decided to get these bunk beds for my kids, 3 and 6 yr olds. First off, the assembly will take about 3 hours even with another adult to help. There are no words just picture directions. You do need enough space because you are basically building 2 twin beds separately before putting one on top of the other. The wood is not sturdy and one of the bed legs have a crack and I could not tighten the bolt good because the wood was cracking. The beds move a good amount when my 6 yr old who weights 55lbs gets on top. The wood slacks do make noise and I hope they dont break, as other reviews stated they did. I figured for a 3 yr old and a 6 yr old these bunks would be okay, for at least for 2 years, but just 1 night in them, I don't know if they will last a few months. The ladder is okay, but the space could be divided a little differently, the top space is to apart and the bottom space is to close. The bed already have marks on them, the wood is very delicate. Also the smell of the paint is strong, we did air them out for 1 night before putting the mattresses on them and letting the kids sleep on them. Not to mention I dont think it can hold up to 400 lbs, I am 165lbs and I am scared to get on it.
Okay, but not worth the amount
