I was concerned deaply about them not laying flat, tho I did notice this pair was only slightly curved. I was right! SUUUUUPPPER comfey!! My guy is 64 stocky and his feet had no hangover. Im 5 tiny and my feet were in a correct position. We both have bad backs as in tittanium, and we almost fell a sleep had it not been for fireworks. Chair is easy to recline up or down by reaching behind you while seated. Your butt or body does not hit any bars! The pads are soft but thick for such a thin pad! Bonus head pillow! They are outdoor durable fabric and have a pocket to secure the pad to the reclining part of the chair along with ties. Heavy duty with sturdy handles with a solid clip to carry a fairly light chair - with pad intact. Perfect for storing! Graceful chairs. Long. I see years of comfort. One down fall.... where the front of the chair hits the ground, will need a booty as it may fray the chair foot. No big. Any hardware store carrys them for a buck or less.
