Be ready to add more supports along with the metal slats provided.
My husband had to add some wood slat supports to the metal frame under our mattress due to bowing on his side of the bed with two of the metal slats. We purchased this bed because of the amount of weight the metal slats were to be able to support. We havent had the bed frame that long (since December).
