Hubby and I were very impressed with how quickly we received this bed. Packaging was so compact and neat they we could barely believe it contained a queen sized bed frame. All parts were present and we were pleased to see that extra bolts and nuts were supplied. All parts were clearly labeled, including the pack with the hardware and tools.
We began assembling according to the instructions, which were very clear. However, when we got to the point where we needed to attach the connector bracket to the fourth corner of the assembly, the bracket holes did not align to the pre-drilled holes on the sideboard and baseboard. My husband resolved the problem with some creative thinking, but he should not have had to do that. When it came time to attach the leg to that corner, we had the same problem. Pre-drilled holes did not align to the bracket, even though the racket had oval-shaped holes to facilitate minor adjustments.
We finally came up with solutions and completed the assembly. In the end, the construction seems very solid. We are waiting on our mattress to arrive, but cant wait to dress up this pretty bed.
One tip wed recommend is to put gliders on the four outside legs and on the four inside legs so that you can easily reposition the bed, especially if its located on carpet. You will need to put the gliders on BEFORE installing the bed slats. Having the gliders will enable you to move the location of the bed for cleaning or rearranging the furniture without dragging the mattress off. Youll avoid damage or shifting of the interior legs while leaving your mattress in place.
