Easy to build, sturdy, and it doesn't squeak. This bed ticks most of the boxes for a low cost and functional piece of furniture. The upholstery has a good sturdy feel to it. The under bed drawers are a nice touch. However, I think the gaps between the drawers and the bed frame are just a wee bit too noticeable. As this is a platform bed, we are not using a box spring. It more than adequately supports a twin mattress. Like most platform beds, it is a bit low. If you want to sleep farther from the floor you can always ad a box spring or get a thick memory foam mattress. Very happy with this bed.
