Box showed shipping weight was heavy (arrived on a wood pallet), but when removed from the shipping box, I was able to use a cart to bring it in the and set up. If you dont have a cart, its a 2 person job to carry the chair. Chair back was manageable by one person. Very sturdy and a pleasure to sit in.
