I have a camp (summer cabin for those not from upstate NY) which is a forerunner of the tiny house movement. At less than 360 sq feet it provides a great room in addition to 3 private sleeping spaces and a bathroom. In such a limited space, every item needs to be proportional and serve multiple functions.
The existing dining table was a rectangular corner/legged table, the legs of which were always in the way. After 45 years of living with it as it was, I decided it was time for a change. I needed something that would fit in the same footprint, be versatile in use, be sturdy, have a center pedestal, and look bright and cheery. Long shopping let me to this round / table, distinguished by its wood construction and center pedestal and appropriate in its price.
I received it quickly, packed securely (nary a scratch or dent). Assembly was straight forward (good instructions / I would note that the leg/base assembly, while able to be completed with the provide wrench, was much easier with a ratchet socket wrench.) Within 30 unhurried minutes after arrival, I had the table I wanted. I would point out the added feature of adjustable feet on the legs so one can easily account for uneven floors (a reality of a 75 yo seasonal property).
I am more than pleased I found and bought this table. The pictures show it in both full open position and with only one up. In the single raised position it can sit 4 more than comfortably, with both leaves up 6 would be no problem. With both leaves ped it is a great work space at its ends while taking up very little space in the room.
Quality table, easily assembled / looks great
