I use this as a small computer accessory cabinet beside my desk because it was the only thing I could find that was just the right size. I looked all over for an antique cabinet, but always came up short. It looks great. I cant complain about the finish. Naturally the construction cannot compare to a proper piece of antique , but its more than adequate for my needs. If I were using this in a wet environment like a bathroom, I might worry that the wood would swell. For my needs its perfect, but if it were in a high/use application, I might look for something better.
