    Be prepared

I bought this bed to replace another bed for my wifes home office space. I thought it was a good looking bed for the price. Good reasonably price daybeds are hard to find where I live unless you buy from (2 1/2 hours away). First of all the minimal assembly requiredis an absolute false statement. I consider myself a very handy person. I have made many repairs (appliances, computers, etc) and assembled many products (furniture, electronics, bikes) and let me tell you, this is THE most challenging, time consuming and frustrating projects (yes, projects) I have ever encountered so far in my 57 years of living. This is arguably a two person project, one if you enjoy unique challenges in life. You will definitely need the following: 1. wood glue 2. time 3. Phillips screwdriver or drill for the wood screws 4. time 5. psychiatry or therapy appointments 6. patience The most time consuming steps are the assembly of the wood for the rails. You will need some skills to keep them together to complete the sides and back. If you lose the hex tool life will be hard. It would be a good idea to group and lay out all of the parts on the floor before you start especially the rail . I started the assembly at 9 PM and stopped at 1 AM. I finished the screwing the bottom wood in the morning which only took a few minutes. Overall I am satisfied with the product and achieving the completion of this assembly.
