Others were not joking about how hard it was to put this thing together!!! It would really help to have two people but I did put it together alone. I got some good advice from other reviewers such as, when putting the little slates together tape the large parallel pieces in place so the slates dont go anywhere and using a wall to keep it from sliding around really helped a lot too. One board unfortunately cracked at the screw points so be careful, the wood is not as hardy as it could be but I still love how it came out and am happy I purchased it. At the end out the day, its perfect for the room and beautiful!
