I bought this for my college aged kid whos sharing an apartment with several roommates in a dense, urban apartment. He wanted a bed that could double as a couch since space is tight. Hes been using it for about two weeks now and says its super easy to convert from couch to bed, and comfortable in either mode. His only complaint is that unlike a regular bed where the mattress sits on top of (but disconnected from) the frame, theres no way to tuck your top sheet in. A fitted bottom sheet stays secure, but the top sheet just hangs on the sides. This leads to your whole bedding on top (sheet, blanket, comforter) just sliding off you in the night if you are restless. This would be no problem if instead of sheets you used, say a sleeping bag. For short-term sleeping, its great. But if you plan to sleep on it every night and you like sheets/blanket, this may be a problem for you.
Comfortable, but best with a sleeping bag.
