Beautiful, high quality chairs at a reasonable price
These chairs look exactly as described and are really great furniture pieces. My kids love the adjustable height feature, especially my youngest who likes to sit on the chair when it's at it lowest height and then pull the lever and rocket himself to the highest position. The red is a very bright, cheerful red. The chairs swivel smoothly and freely.
A coupe of things to note:
- The chairs do take some considerable amount of weight/pressure to push back down once they've been raised. An adult sitting in the chair could relatively easily lower the position but a small kid may not be able to.
- In case you are unfamiliar with this style of barstool, the base is heavy and wide (to prevent the stool from tipping easily) which makes it a little cumbersome to scoot in once you're sitting.
I just want to put those things out there so no one is caught off guard when considering the purchase of these fantastic chairs.
