My 5yr old is 44lbs who is at his dadshouse half the time so he doesnt sleep in this bed every night. Weve only had this bed for a little over a week now when he went to lay in his bed for a nap, he said he heard a loud noise. When we lifted the mattress we seen one of the slats completely snapped! He doesnt jump on his bed or stand on it we never sit on his bed because we remember how fragile it felt when putting it together. It came with a cracked side rail a few of the screws were completely stripped before we could even put a screw driver to it. Very disappointed in this purchase and not sure what to do now with sleeping arrangements.
Very fragile and not sturdy at all.
