These chairs are a breeze to assemble and manually recline with ease. Dont expect perfection, I believe most will be pleasantly surprised. I would recommend for anyone in need of a recliner but dont have a big budget.
Because I need to keep my leg elevated, these recliners will meet my need.
I will offer the seat cushion is stiff, as in rock hard. Dont expect density or comfort like firm memory foam. The arms and leg rest are thinly padded so I anticipate long term wear will reflect in the short term. Ill post updates. Ill look for a cushion that can be attached to the leg rest to provide padding and improve comfort for my leg, as the padding currently offers a lot to be desired.
Point of concern, when trying to recline all the way back, the chair slides forward to a sitting up position. This issue should be researched by the manufacturer. Another point of concern, comfort. If the seat cushion doesnt soften, these will make for painful seating.
For now, were enjoying the chairs.

Weve had the chairs a full week. After sitting in one of the chairs every evening, Im experiencing sciatic nerve pain. I may decide to return one of the chairs and let my husband move one of the chairs to his tv room. If there was a way to safely replace the foam, I would, but the cushions are sewn closed to the seat portion, as opposed to loose for easy cleaning and replacement as they wear.

After much discussion, we opted to keep the recliners and give the chairs proper break in time.
I must concede Im quite pleased now that the seat cushions have softened to some degree which has alleviated the uncomfortable pressure on my lower back. The leg rest offers little padding so can be quite uncomfortable after watching a two hour movie. Ill get creative and attach a proper memory foam cushion designed to wrap snugly to the contour of the leg rest. Easy/pey for creative minds.
These chairs are beautiful and have broken in nicely and Im super pleased we opted to keep them in our home.
