Clearly, this chair was not designed with American buttocks in mind. Its well made and went together easily enough, but the raised rim around part of the seat is just a smidgen too narrow to be comfortable for more than a few minutes at a time. I bought this to use while working at a computer (I dont like roller/chairs) but found it unusable for that purpose. If youre a smaller person, this might be a good buy. But as a 510 overweight (like most Americans) male, that edge/rim is for me a deal/killer. Now I have a very nice guest/chair, and am back to shopping for something comfortable to work in.
