This product has saved me from moving out of my home due to lack of office space. The amount of space underneath the mattress is big enough for a large L shaped desk to go beside the existing desk, making for an amazing office space. Im 53 and I need to duck when underneath, but the height under the mattress more than allows for a taller gaming chair. The bed does shake when going up and down the ladders, but its completely stable. My cat adores having a higher, comfy, and secluded place to sleep- adding another benefit.
