Pretty friggen amazing, all things considered

The product arrived the same day as this review. I recently moved and finally had enough space that I wanted a solution that offered seating for my office and a sleeping solution for up to two people. My office is relatively large, so saving space wasn't necessarily a concern. After reading the reviews, I settled on two of these convertible Ottomans - the idea was just too neat to pass up, and the price didn't seem too crazy. And yeah, they're not perfect and their size makes them a bit awkward to try to pack into the house (alone) once delivered (thankfully, I didn't have to navigate any stairs). Once unboxed, though, I immediately noticed a few things... (The Bad) 1) I ordered Mustard Yellow and received, I believe, Denim Blue for both Ottomans... All right, fine, not the worst mix up but I was REALLY looking forward to the obnoxious yellow as I like vibrant things. At the very minimum, the price of the color received is the same price as the color I ordered, but I'm still disappointed. Minus one Star! 2) There are multiple dirt spots (which might actually be rust) on both Ottoman skirts near the legs. I found this odd because neither box was damaged enough to make me think that this happened during shipping, and both came wrapped in plastic, further solidifying the notion that this occurred pre-packaging. So I assume these spots must have been on the material at or near assembly. No idea. Whatever, not that big of a deal. 3) One Ottoman has a corner of material with a few punctures in the fabric. I don't think this will create a problem, but that probably depends on how rough my family and guests are with the Ottomans going forward. Probably worth subtracting a star for, but I'll refrain for now. (The Meh) 4) Sure, they're probably not as pillowy soft as many people prefer their beds to be, and maybe after sleeping on one of these for eight hours without a foam topper, you might have a few stiff joints, but all things considered, they're pretty impressive. (The Good) 5) Despite its awkwardly large size, this product is light enough that two people could easily carry it upstairs, or even one person if they have a hand truck. With two side by side, you could maybe sit three people in the chair configuration, although I'm not going to vouch for the comfortability of the middle seats since they'd be sitting on the frame (not sure how much cushion they'd get). 6) GLORIOUSLY wide size. I'm not a small person (that's slang for fat); this product's width is mind-blowingly amazing and genuinely the most significant selling point (for me - which is dumb, because I don't plan on sleeping on these). And they're rated for up to 440 lbs?! DANG. Guess I won't need to worry about any of my guests sleeping on these. 7) IF you get two, as I did, now you have multiple configurations to suit your fancy. Sofa for seating three, two big butt chairs or loungers, one large (near King size) bed for a pair of guests, or two small beds for separate guests. Total multi-functional-bonus. I scoured the internet looking for at least a queen-sized sleeping solution that was still functionally usable when not needed as a bed. That was considered stylish and could be reasonably pushed to the side if space was ever needed. I was convinced I'd have to sit on a waiting list for some Ikea configuration or pay twice what I paid for two of these.
