I found this stool after doing a Google search for most comfortable bar stools. I had high hopes for it and unfortunately I was very disappointed. While the seat is somewhat comfortable the footrest is way too high if you are anything over 5 ft 10 in tall. What is really troubling is that this bar stool is extremely unstable on a carpeted floor. I assembled the stool and installed it in my basement with a very low cut carpet over the concrete floor. Pain sitting on the chair I found it very wobbly because the base is not wide enough. I thought that maybe it would get settled into the carpet but at one point I actually almost fell to the floor when I got into the chair. Going to be sending it back for a full refund.
