A little wobbly but seems sturdy. The ladder can be moved from one side to the other but it scratches up the paint underneath it, so its really not worth moving unless you want to expose the scratches. My kid loves her loft bed. We have 8 foot ceilings and theres enough room for my kid to sit up while in it.
