Pretty easy to assemble, it came with extra wood screws we elected to just use the bolts it came with for the legs and so far its standing the test and will of 3 rambunctious kids havent had to reinforce with the wood screws so Id say its a sturdy item would buy again if I needed to and would recommend to friends and family.
