My husband assembled for our daughter by himself in one afternoon. He is handy, but not a genius at these things. He is very visual though, so the lack of verbal instruction makes this perfect for him.
Delivery went well, and all parts were included in correct condition.
I researched a ton of loft beds, and this manufacturer appears to sell under multiple brand names, but availability has been difficult. The biggest selling points for me were the weight rating for sturdiness, neutral color to work with other furniture (she is outgrowing white), and the height. This bed is the perfect height for 8ft ceilings if you want to really utilize the space below. I wanted the option to put her tall dresser below, at least partially, and still keep the ceiling fan. We did opt for a bunky board for added support, and I think that was a good move.
Of course a tween arranges her room for minimal function and optimum weirdness, but she loves this bed, and there is no squeak like her old metal daybed. An unexpected bonus is how wide the rails are. She can keep a water bottle, a book, glasses, etc. close at hand.
I am not being compensated in any way for this review, and Im blowing my own mind giving it 5 stars. I honestly dont know what more I could want. Im getting the low loft version for her 4yo sister.
Met my every expectation and then some
