NOT pure white, but easy assembly, sturdy, and very nice look!
I am not a high-end furniture buyer; I think paying more than $150 for a nightstand is ridiculous (lets be real, its only really used to hold your phone and MAYBE a glass of water). I am a DIY-er who likes to buy nice-looking but very budget-friendly furniture (think IKEA). So this is my review:
Design - stylistically, this is a very cute/nice looking night stand that I wanted to use in my guest room. I love the big empty shelf on the bottom (to put books and a plant) and then the 2 drawers to hide other items (remotes, coasters, chargers). My style is contemporary/modern so this fit well with my decor.
The ONLY reason I am quite disappointed in this item is because it is not pure white (which some of the answers in the QA section said it was). See my photos. My baseboards are painted with trim paint that are a satin pure white. This nightstand against my baseboards (and most likely other furniture I will be buying) is definitely a CREAM/IVORY or an off-white. IT IS NOT PURE WHITE.
Assembly - I am an avid DIY-er, and have put together many pieces of furniture, and this was not a problem for me. Reading the other reviews of the quality and hardware was a bit daunting before I ordered this, but I personally had no big issues. One of my drawer covers did have a crushed section of the wood that I am literally getting a free replacement for 2 days after I requested it (the owner manual has the directions of how to order free replacement parts, its VERY easy). None of my hardware broke (and I have a bad habit of over-tightening all my joints). I feel like the overall assembly feels sturdy and well built. If there are issues of symmetry - that is based on how you assemble it. You can tweak those types of things with furniture that you assemble yourself. I did have to tweak (loosen/tighten) some of the screws in a couple spots so the parts would fit together well - it wasnt hard.
Price - it is VERY difficult to find a non-boring night stand that is less than $100! So this price is AWESOME for the style of this night stand! Other night stands that I wanted are ~$150, so this was a great price for the style. Ive shopped on Houzz, Overstock, Wayfair, IKEA, Home Depot, Lowes, Art Van, Kohls, BBB, and Target for night stands. Call me picky - but this one was a great buy for the price.
Note: my photo is missing 1 of the drawers cause Im waiting on the replacement part. It is merely to show the color is NOT pure white! Therefore I unfortunately wont be using it in my guest room, but another room that may be more suitable.
