Frustrating assembly, even for an experienced DIYer
I went for this because it had all the features I wanted plus a cushioned top and was still 10 less than the one at IKEA.
I am an avid DIYer and have assembled a *lot* of furniture. This assembly was much more time consuming and frustrating than it should have been. The main problem is that the manufacturer has poor quality/control. There were metal burs in the screw holes, some were bored crooked, and the screws were poor quality. I assembled two beds, two end tables, a desk and an office chair the same day, and this was the piece that took the longest time. Its doable, but prepare to be frustrated.
When finished, it is the product I wanted, fits 6 pair of shoes, looks good, and is comfortable to sit on.
