The umbrella showed up and was easy to assemble, but does not stand on its own without the base. I looked all through the box and found the booklet that says sold separately. This umbrella is twice as expensive as it seems and that is pretty deceiving, otherwise I would be happy with my purchase that I cant use for our bbq, bc I only own half of it.
