Its a bit expensive but worth it compared to the cheapo umbrellas. I noticed the shock absorbing tips and thought wow what a great idea to save wear and tear on the fabric. I bought the 32 base and filled 1 side with sand which was tedious so i filled the other side with water but the heat from the sun was heating up the water and causing that side to expand so i loosened the plug just a bit to let the pressure out and problem solved. Its a heavy base so dont plan on moving it often. Lucky for me i had a Jet brand mobile base (typically used for a table saw), its all metal and adjusted to exactly 32, i cut a 32 piece of 3/4 plywood put it in the mobile base, put the umbrella base on top of that and it is perfect. The wheels lock when i want it to stay place, makes it very easy to move when i need it to.
Sturdy and well crafted
